The beauty of the Dandenong Ranges and Yarra Valley Regions is that, apart from the diversity of wonderful landscapes and unique attractions that one can experience, there is their close proximity to each other.
Travel time by vehicle from the middle of one region to the other is 20 minutes, and dependant on which two locations your travelling between, no more than 50 minutes if you were travelling between the two furthest points apart of both regions. This obviously leaves you the option of basing yourself at one location within the two regions and spending several days taking in all that the two regions have to offer, whilst still only being one hours drive into the centre of Melbourne city.
